Bobbie Adams
ARTIST STATEMENT
I observe tiny and intricate details of the world I see, and imagine vast landscapes and endless waters at the same time. My art is intended to suggest that vastness by accumulating many lines and gestures. This imagery is created using layers of transparent color and a variety of techniques. I love the challenge of all the technical variables, the iterative process and the intensity of the physical labor. I intentionally create art whose subject is open to many interpretations, and have been working in this manner for a very long time.
