Disturbing the Surface presents a dynamic survey of contemporary printmaking, showcasing work by members of the American Color Print Society (ACPS), a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting original graphic art and advancing the art of printmaking.
Featuring both traditional and experimental approaches, the exhibition spans etching, lithography, relief, screenprint, cyanotype, risograph, digital printmaking and artists books. Together, these works demonstrate the extraordinary range of expression the medium makes possible—from bold graphic compositions to delicate, layered impressions.
Disturbing the Surface underscores printmaking’s ongoing relevance and adaptability, offering a vivid look at how artists continue to reinvent the medium.
The Noyes Galleries at Kramer Hall showcases work by a wide range of regional, national, and internationally prominent artists.
