Artist Statement
I believe the graphic forms I have processed thus far with the use of a computer are very much in phase with the contemporary digital era. In their own special way,
they are deeply infused with a sense of the here and now. However, this does not mean they simplistically mirror today and tomorrow in some obvious manner. Instead, they respond
to a drive I feel within me for constructing a statement with utopian overtones, consonant with the present day.
Metaphorically, it projects the notion of reaching for an infinite perfectibility in contrast to what I feel are the manifold inadequacies found in the ordinary surrounding world.
