Artist Statement
I like wandering about searching for images in landscapes that appears in my imagination. I explore figurative subjects, mythical stories, and things that exist in the natural world.
Sometimes a place or a time, offers an unexpected result that surprises me. Creating a new image is
challenging and at times seemingly impossible.
In my studio I have a quote by Rachel Carson pinned to my wall.
Her words express my feelings exactly.
"Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth
are never alone or weary of life"
