In 1985 Richard Redd began to devote himself to printmaking specializing in collagraphs. He is a graduate of the University of Toledo and the University of Iowa where he studies printmaking with Mauricio Lasansky. Redd taught at Lehigh University in Bethlehem,
PA for 38 years, 7 of which he chaired his department. He became Emeritus in 1996 maintaining a studio at his home and at the University.
