These bouquets tell the story of the seasons. The prints are Rain, Winter Bouquet, New Day, and Sunflowers with Antique Vase. New Day, in many shades of blue, explores the world of light and the beautiful bouquet of gossamer peacock feathers. Winter Bouquet with its rich black background on one side and a pink candelabra on the other gives a hint that 3When winter comes can spring be far behind.2 Sunflowers with Antique Vase brings the autumn garden into view in a delicate antique vase. Rain expresses the nourishing life of plants as they reach up towards the light. These prints are cut into the wood with carving tools, inked and printed by hand with handmade paper and the use of a Baren. I create limited editions of each print. This work expresses my love for the beauty of the woodblock print and my wish is that it may bring joy and peace to all.
