In all my work I have poured out emotional energy; sometimes to capture the temporariness of the moment; sometimes, to create the threat of change that exists beyond that moment. In this creative process I enjoy the role that chance plays. My aim is to be provocative, yet pleasing – without ideology and restraint.
Carole J. Meyers resides in Huntingdon Valley, PA and works mainly in monotypes.
Meyers studied in Florence, Italy and graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
She is a member of the Montgomery County Guild of Professional Artists and the American Color Print Society.
Carole’s monotypes have won prizes at the Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia and the Abington Art Center where she appeared in a solo exhibit.
Recently The Freeholders’ Association of Burlington County, New Jersey purchased one of Meyers’ mixed media pieces for their municipal collection.
One of Meyers’ mixed media pieces is part of the ARCO Corporation permanent collection.
